Yield strength up to 730 MPa
Up to 45% stronger than 7075, yet still offers great ductility (from 8% to 12%).

An eco-friendly surface treatment
We are currently scaling up production of our innovative, proprietary surface treatment, which offers optimal adhesion properties and creates an excellent bonding interface on aluminum. Furthermore, this eco-friendly surface treatment is safe for workers and easy to work with.

Sports Equipment
Scalium™ can be used in sports equipment to achieve targeted mechanical properties, reduce weight, and enable recyclability by replacing composites.

With its outstanding mechanical properties, Scalium™ can help reduce launch costs or increase payload capacity to orbit.
Aeronautics
Scalium's high strength-to-weight ratio allows it to replace 7000 series aluminum alloys and titanium in certain applications, enabling the production of lighter aircraft components that reduce carbon emissions and operating costs over their lifetime.

Scalium’s™ potential was demonstrated through the creation of the first aluminum-scandium skis, leveraging Ferreol’s core expertise in the field.

Patent deposited ✔
Another key milestone was the filing of a patent to protect the proprietary Scalium™ technology.

Scalium™ in sports equipment
The current phase focuses on scaling up the Scalium™ technology and launching commercialization.
